Things I Do
With more than 15 years of experience in web development, and 10 years as Creative Director—moving on to become Chief Technology Officer—for a streaming video company, I’ve had to wear many hats. My strength is branding and front-end development using a diverse array of content management systems and frameworks, with strong experience in marketing, hosting and managing server technicians, back-end programming, database management, project management and non-profit fundraising. I do lots of things. And I do those things well.

Junk I Know
My skills and proficiencies come from a long and varied career—first as a business owner for a video production and streaming company, then as a freelance contractor for a variety of clients with a diverse set of needs. My knowledge and work experience developed out of necessity—a necessity of understanding the practical application of strategies and technologies in real-world settings. While theoretical knowledge is important, I focus on the practical application of online technologies as a means to directly benefit clients’ business structures, providing desired outcomes and achieving success.

About Me
I’ve spent most of my career as Creative Director—moving on to become Chief Technology Officer—of a small video streaming company in New York City. I left the industry for two years to pursue personal interests and live and practice at a Zen Buddhist Monastery in the mountains of southern California. Since returning to New York in 2019, I’ve used my career experience to help many small and mid-sized businesses fulfill their visions and execute successful online strategies. I love the personal touch of collaborating one-on-one with clients, bringing an idea to life from conception to launch.
I volunteer my time with a couple non-profits, including a Zen Buddhist center here in New York City, and an organization that advocates for racial equity and equality, centering Black transgender and gender non-conforming youth and sex workers.
In my personal time, I can be found riding my bike around NYC with my beagle, Bailey, in my backpack. I’m deeply involved with my Zen Buddhist community and socially engaged spiritual practice. I love the outdoors, and I hope to one day backpack the entirety of the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail.
